March always seems to sneak up on me and then, just as fast, disappears. The last few years, March has been a pivotal month for me when it comes to self growth, and this year was no different. Nearly every year in my adult life, I have encountered a major life or change or two in the last few weeks of February. So, unfortunately (or fortunately, depending how you look at it), March is left to pick up the pieces and I am left with a month of self reflection. And reflect I did. Much like the weather, this month I felt extreme highs and extreme lows, but all in all this month was dedicated to learning about myself.
I keep asking myself, how is it already the end of the first quarter? This month was the busiest one I have had in a while. More specifically, the busiest social agenda I have had in a while, and let me tell you I have become addicted to making plans. It started with an event invite here, a catch up with friends there, until I found myself making plans every single night of the week. I’m not sure if it’s the weather getting warmer, big life changes or, simply, I just am in the mood to chat while sipping a margarita, but I have been living as my extremely social alter ego all month and absolutely loving it.
This month has not been complete bliss, but honestly I can’t complain. I rang in the month coming down with (maybe) the flu on March 1st, so the first week of the month was a little thrown. I also realized very quickly that the schedule I was operating on with my YouTube channel had very little room for error. After one week of being sick, I had to rethink multiple videos, move deadlines and restructure my workload completely. All of this sent me into a few days of soul searching and ultimately ended with me deciding to get a part time job to take some pressure off of my business, finances and creativity. But more on that later.
On Repeat This Month:
I have two full albums for you this month. The first being the debut album of my extremely talented friend, Kevin Atwater. His album is thought provoking, personal and so, so incredible. I can’t recommend it enough.
Ok and now the literal OPPOSITE genre from Kevin, my second album on repeat has been the newest album by Tate McRae. This has been my favorite to listen to while working out, walking outside and getting ready for a night out. It’s just fun, hot girl music and I love it.
